Capability — Full Machine Shop Services

Bring the Part. Match the Process.

Describe the result you need and let MIR determine which machining capability is best suited to produce it.

MIR provides broad machine-shop support for commercial and industrial requirements, including turning, milling and specialist operations. Begin with the part, material, tolerance and production objective; the process detail and technical capacity follow once the requirement is understood.

Applications & suitable jobs

  • Machined components where the process route is not yet decided
  • Jobs combining turning, milling and secondary operations
  • Overflow machining for other manufacturers

Technical detail

Process routes, supported materials and how a general requirement is matched to the right specialist capability.

Start from the need, not the machine list

Instead of asking buyers to evaluate equipment, MIR starts from the part: what it does, its material, the tolerances that matter and the quantity required. The process route is chosen against that requirement.

Specialist processes

Where the job needs deep-hole drilling, honing, sawing or zinc phosphating, it moves to the dedicated capability — each has its own page and estimator path.

Materials and files

Steel, copper/stainless/nickel alloys, aluminum and engineering plastics. Jobs can start from PDF drawings or CAD/CAM files imported directly for programming.

Quality & inspection

Repeat work runs under the same quality expectations as contract production; see Quality Assurance for the controls buyers can specify.

Frequently asked questions

My job is only one operation — is it too small?

Single operations such as sawing or honing for other manufacturers are a normal part of the shop's work. Use the specific service page when you know the operation.

How do I know which process my part needs?

You don't have to. Send the drawing and the production objective, and the review determines the route.
